- For the kofta:
- 100 grams of chickpeas
- 1 teaspoon green chili paste
- 1 medium onion
- Oil if needed

- 2 tablespoons oil
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- 3 cloves
- 2 boiled potatoes
- 1 teaspoon red pepper powder
- 2 tablespoons fine flour
- 1 tablespoon of cottage cheese
- 3 tablespoons roasted chana dal powder
- 1 cup cooked chickpeas
- 1 cup potato chips
- 2 finely chopped onions
- Garlic chutney as needed
- Optional dates and sweet tamarind chutney
- 2 teaspoons of Garam Masala
- salt
Instructions for making Burmese pazo
- Directions for Maje Kofta: Soak chickpeas in water for 7-8 hours. After soaking, drain the water and put it in a mixing bowl, add the green chili paste and a little water and grind it. Pour into a bowl. Add the chopped onion, salt and mix well. Heat the oil in the OJ and fry the koftas over medium heat until golden.
- Grate the fresh coconut, add a glass of mixture. Add 1 cup hot water and stir in coconut milk until smooth. Look at it through a Muslim or thin cotton fabric. Add another 1/2 cup of hot water to the residue and make coconut water. Set aside. Heat the oil in a frying pan and mix well with the cinnamon sticks, cloves, sliced potatoes and coconut milk. Add salt, flour, fried chickpea powder and curd. Stir well so that all the ingredients are well mixed.
- Add the red chilli powder. Mix well and cook over low heat for 20-25 minutes. To serve, put the fried koftas in a serving dish, pour the hot curry, garnish with boiled chickpeas, mashed potatoes and finely chopped onions. Serve chutney and garam masala separately in small serving bowls.
